Updated April 20, 2004
On June 15 and 16, 2004, EPA Region III, in partnership
with MARAMA, offered the first Air Toxics Summit at EPA
Region III's offices.
The purpose of the summit was to provide the State and local agencies
belonging to MARAMA with an opportunity to network and share the
latest and best information on air toxics. Sessions
were offered on mobile source and diesel issues, indoor air, Maximum Achievable
Control Technologies, air toxic monitoring and modeling, risk assessment
and grant opportunities for 2004 and 2005. In addition, time was set aside for a panel discussion on how best to develop and
support an air toxics program in a time of tight resources.
Presentations in PDF format can be downloaded or viewed on the agenda page.
