The Mid-Atlantic/Northeast Visibility Union (MANE-VU) held a Stakeholders’ Briefing on final regional haze modeling results on April 4, 2008 at the Holiday Inn BWI near Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall (BWI) Airport. 

States are preparing plans to reduce regional haze at major national parks and wilderness areas. To assist with that effort NESCAUM coordinated the Best and Final regional haze modeling for the region.

Meeting topics included:

• The results of MANE-VU's regional haze modeling and analysis, and

• The pollution control measures and emissions estimates used in the modeling.

Technical staff and air program managers were available to discuss modeling results.
