MARAMA held a VOC Sampling & Analysis Course on June 10-12, 2008 in the Wilmington, DE.

The objective of the VOC Sampling & Analysis course is to provide MARAMA state and local agency personnel with the needed background information, checklist and guidance associated with EPA methodologies involving sampling for VOCs.

This 3-day course addressed various Federal Reference Methods (FRMs) for quantifying VOC emissions from industrial sources.  These methods included FRMs 18, 21, 24, 24A, 25, and 25A. In addition, information was presented involving EPA’s SW-846 source test methods for VOCs including Method 0010 (Semi-VOST sampling trains) and Method 0030 (VOST sampling training for VOC determination).  

The instructor for the three day course was William T. "Jerry" Winberry, EnviroTech Solutions.
