MARAMA is pleased to announce the 2008 Annual Monitoring Committee Meeting on November 17-19, 2008. It wil be held at the Omni Richmond Hotel in Richmond, VA The meeting goal is to share information among member agencies in order to coordinate monitoring activities within the region.

November 14, 2008 Update: The parking informaiton provided on the hotel page was incorrect. The correct information is as follows:

-Valet parking $20 per day with unlimited in/out privileges
-Self-parking $21 per day – does not include in/out privileges

As in the past, there will be an Agency Roundtable discussion at the meeting.  We will be asking each agency to submit a one page written update indicating information on issues and activities throughout the past year.  A copy of the questionnaire is available.  On an additional page, please provide an organizational chart of your monitoring program, including e-mail, phone numbers, and addresses.  These updates should be submitted to MARAMA by October 28.  The updates will be copied and distributed at the meeting.  One person from each agency should be ready to speak on behalf of the agency during the roundtable discussion.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

Online registration is now available. There is a $40 registration fee for the meeting. The registration fee is waived for MARAMA member agency staff and non-federal speakers. If you plan to attend only one day, please contact Alice Lutrey regarding the registration fee (alutrey(at)marama.org). Registrations are due to MARAMA by October 27, 2008.

MARAMA will provide breaks and a working lunch on both November 17 and 18. Dinner is on your own for all nights.
