The National Council on the Aging (NCOA) has a position available at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for an Instructor to work part-time from home and to travel to training sites as needed. The position will conduct and develop training programs to enable Federal, State and Local air pollution control districts to perform EPA level 2 inspections of air pollution sources. DUTIES: Perform mock inspections as part of training courses; help develop and deliver NACT training courses; analyze state specific rules and regulations as they relate to training materials; identify/assess pre and post course examination questions and conduct post course evaluations; attend meeting and training in support of these duties. REQUIRED: Age 55+, BA/BS degree in physical science or engineering required. Ideal candidate must have a minimum of 15 years working at a Federal, State or Local Air Quality Agency, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to travel at a minimum of one (1) week per month, multi-task, prioritizing and working independently is a plus.
