1:00 PM - 3:00 PM EDT
This is the third in the MARAMA/ICAC webinar series on Mercury and Air Quality. Electric utilities operating coal-fired power generating units will need to comply with the mercury emission limitations in the Mercury and Air Toxics standards (MATS) rule. This third session will focus on the challenges faced in measuring mercury emissions from sources. The use continuous mercury emissions monitors (CEMS) is one measurement method. The biggest advantage of using mercury CEMS is that real-time measurement allows a feedback loop to control reagent feed.
Presenters for this webinar will include:
|Ray Chalmers, USEPA||Overview of MATS and Unit Plans for compliance|
|Jeff Socha, Thermo Fischer Scientific||HgCEMS Improvements and Updates|
|Dan Kietzer, SICK Process Automation||HgCEMS Technology Advancement|
|Richard Hovan, Durag||HgCEMS Hardware Updates|
