This meeting, which spans 2 ½ days, will include:  roundtable discussions with member agencies; updates from EPA Region 3, OAQPS, and the IMPROVE Committee; and presentations from invited speakers.

 Please note that MARAMA utilizes the RegOnline system. You will need to login and create a password.  If attending future events, you will be able to use the same login and password without having to fill in your contact information again.  If you have already registered for a previous course, please use the login and password you have created to register for this course. 

There is NO registration fee for state and local employees to attend this meeting.  All Federal employees will be subject to a nominal registration fee.

Everyone is responsible for making their own hotel reservations either on-line or through Boar’s Head reservations.  Sleeping rooms have been reserved under MARAMA room block. The room block includes the nights of December 8th, 9th, and 10thTo book on-line, please go to www.boarsheadinn.com. On the home page, select your dates and then “book now”. This will prompt you to another page, where you will need to select “Group” in the second box (drop down box) where it currently reads “Negotiated Rate”. When selecting group, this will prompt you for a code, your code will be MARAMA.  After entering this, you will reach your designated group page, and proceed with your selections.

Room Rate: $125.00 plus tax

Hotel Registration Deadline:  November 14, 2014

 

Note:  Reservations already confirmed may be cancelled up to December 5, 2014 without penalty.  Room reservations cancelled after December 5, 2014, will be billed for the entire length of stay, including taxes to the individual.  A one (1) night deposit is required for every individual at the time of making the reservation.  MARAMA will not pay for any cancellation penalties on their master account.  These penalties will be the responsibility of the individual who made the reservation.

  

MARAMA SUPPORT AVAILABLE

MARAMA will offer support to cover the cost of room and tax for up to 2 staff per MARAMA member agency for up to 3 nights, if needed (December 8th, 9th, and 10th).  If an additional night is needed due to travel time, please include that in your request for additional support.

Supported attendees are responsible for all incidentals and travel.  Overnight support is not available to those who live within 50 miles of the course location.  If additional or alternative support is needed, pre-approval is necessary and a request must come from your agency’s Air Director (or their designee) and emailed to MARAMA’s Executive Director, Susan Wierman (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.), prior to the event.  A list of what type of support is needed, an estimate of additional costs and the reason for the support is essential to include.
