I’m flying
The closest airport is the Baltimore Washington International (BWI) airport.  Additional nearby airports include Dulles and Reagan National in Washington, DC.

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport - BWI. 8 miles to the south

  • Driving directions to the hotel: Exit airport to Rt. 195 West. Merge onto I-95 North, then to I-395 North. Make 1st right turn onto Conway Street, then left at 3rd light onto Light Street, turning into far right two lanes, road will merge to the right, onto Pratt Street. Make immediate 1st left onto South Street. Hotel entrance is on the left.
  • Shuttle: The hotel does not provide shuttle service from the airport. A commercially available service, Super Shuttle, services the airport; go to (www.supershuttle.com) or 1-800-BLUE VAN (258-3826) estimated cost: $13 one way
  • Taxi: Estimated taxi fare: $26 one way
  • Transit: The Light Rail, a fixed rail system, has a stop at the airport and a stop within walking distance (0.4 mile) from the Renaissance Hotel. Estimated cost $1.60 one way.  The MARC commuter rail (Penn Line) also stops at the airport and at Penn Station (transfer to Light Rail). Please see the transit section for more information.

Washington, DC/Dulles - IAD, 50 miles

  • Driving directions to the hotel: Take Dulles Access Road to 495 North to I-95 North, then to I-395 North. Make 1st right turn onto Conway Street, then left at 3rd light onto Light Street, turning into far right two lanes, road will merge to the right, onto Pratt Street. Make immediate 1st left onto South Street. Hotel entrance is on the left.

  • Shuttle: The hotel does not provide shuttle service from the airport. The commercial service, Super Shuttle, which services Dulles does not service the Renaissance hotel.

  • Taxi:    Estimated taxi fare: $100 one way

Once on Metrorail, go to Union Station. Use the MARC commuter rail to go to either the Camden Yards stop (on the Camden Line) within walking distance to the hotel or go to Penn Station (on the Penn Line) and transfer to Light Rail.

Ronald Reagan Washington National - DCA, 65 miles

  • Driving directions to the hotel: Follow I-95 North, then to I-395 North. Make 1st right turn onto Conway Street, then left at 3rd light onto Light Street, turning into far right two lanes, road will merge to the right, onto Pratt Street. Make immediate 1st left onto South Street. Hotel entrance is on the left.

I'm Driving
Generally, the hotel is located in the heart of downtown Baltimore, easily accessible via I-95 and I-83 from the north and I-95 and I-97 from the south.

Amtrak services many major cities in the mid-Atlantic and northeast corridor, including a stop at Penn Station in Baltimore.

  • Driving directions from Penn Station to the Renaissance hotel. (1.8 miles) Go north on Charles Street (0.1m). Turn right onto Lanvale Street (0.1m). Turn right onto St. Pauls Street (1.5m). Turn left onto Pratt Street. Pass hotel at 222 E. Pratt Street. Make immediate 1st left onto South Street. Hotel entrance is on the left.
  • Shuttle. There is no shuttle service from Penn Station to the hotel.
  • Transit: Penn Station is serviced by the Light Rail, a fixed rail system in Baltimore. The closest Light Rail stop to the hotel is the Convention Center (approximately 0.4 mile from hotel). See transit section for more information.

Local Transit
The hotel is within walking distance to the Light Rail, a fixed rail system, connecting to Penn Station (Amtrak and MARC commuter rail Penn Line) to the north and BWI Airport to the south. Also within walking distance is the MARC commuter rail stop at Camden Yards on the Camden Line (approximately 0.6 m from hotel).

  • Walking directions from Convention Center stop on Light Rail: Walk east on Pratt Street. Continue over Hopkins Place, Charles Street, Light Street, and Calvert Street. Hotel is on the left.
  • Walking directions from Camden Yards MARC stop: Walk north on Howard Street. Turn right (east) onto Pratt Street. Continue over Hopkins Place, Charles Street, Light Street, and Calvert Street. Hotel is on the left.
